Friends With Benefits review-ish

Just watched Friends With Benefits and am now left with the lonely, familiar feeling you as single get after a romantic comedy. And the funny thing is that in this film they actually discuss the bullshit these romantic pastimes are stuffed with.

They even specifically told me about the happy song that is played in the end to give you thar warm, fuzzy feeling. When hearing it I thought "YEAH, that is so true. Such bullshit. Not gonna fall for that one again". Yet... one hour and 23 minuter later I hear the same song playing at the end of the movie - and I smile. I sit there like an idiot, smiling while thinking about how I'm going to find my prince charming.

I do feel a bit tricked by this film. Laughed at. Through the entire thing they keep telling me how there is no prince charming a la Disney actions yet that is EXACTLY what they bring. Hell, the guy even recreates the scene they discussed.

Which means this guy do exist?

And that's when you're back again. You sit there. Hoping for your stupid prince charming to pour his heart out on a staircase.

And tomorrow I'm probably going to sit on the train, listening to music and watch out the window. And think how Mr. Right might be on the exact same train. Just waiting for me to bump into him.

Bullshit.

"Louise looked at your profile"

So we have all embraced

(Or been thrust upon.)

the new features Facebook has offered. Some are pretty awesome

(Had an invitation to an "ERASE FACEBOOK TIMELINE" even by a guy. As if. I own that shit.)

while some feels a bit... unnecessary. I still don't get why I have that "extra live feed" in my top right corner. I don't want to stalk ALL of my Facebook friends.

And talking about stalking.

Imagine if Facebook introduced a new feature. The looky-looky feature. A service that gives you a list of the last people who visited your profile.

I'd be screwed.

We'd all be screwed. Because let's face it. We all use Facebook occasionally to look through someone's profile in a bit more depth than their latest status.

(You'd be surprised how quick you can click through 234 tagged pictures.)

We'd all have to create fake accounts just to check out our crush's latest drunk pictures

(Are boys tagged in anything else?)

and not being caught doing it multiple times a day. Trust me. It has been done. The major, Swedish social networks I've grown up with all had this feature and it was very common-- for girls-- to have a online alter ego. Safety first, you know. People want to be able to stalk a cute guy behind the security of their own screen.

I hope Facebook never bring this to the table. But if they do, don't be suprised if you get a friend request from a Miss Anna Andersson.

Day off again

Sitting here in my bed, drinking Coke Zero and eating carrots. My hands still stinks of salmon from my lunch today. Not very appriciated when I have to keep my hands so close to my face at all time.

(To scratch my eyes, that is. Not really stroking my cheeks over here.)

I'm off today. Again! Woke up and went out for a run and then walked into Camden Market. Didn't find anything but I'm getting to know various ways to walk to different destinations around here. Which is good. It's all about knowing your area.

I'm so tired!

I can't stand this! I'm so tired! These stupid pills are supposed to make me feel ALIVE, not like a walking dead. I was sitting... like this...

at the train. Didn't manage to keep my eyes open

(Or my mouth shut.)

for more than three minutes. Woke up in panic at my stop. And now I'm heading out for a run. I DON'T WANT TO! But I have to. But I don't want to.

(But you have to, Louise.)

Trip into central London

I'm off today and the weather's still amazing! After my run this morning I left for Oxford Street and central London. Walked all the way there, which took about an hour. Extra excersice is always welcome.

Didn't really buy anything more than schampoo and conditioner. And a black T-shirt. You always need a black T-shirt. Fun fact: I realised that it was an open back T-shirt long after I bought it. Sigh. Too far to go back. So I now have a very hip black T-shirt.

(Count "T-shirt" in that paragraph.)

Went to Soho Square and had lunch in the grass. Took the bus home. I'm absolutely knackered. These anti allergy pills knock me out!

On the way home

Sitting on the bus stop. My scarf wrapped around me like a long skirt.

Never went to Thw Ship tonight, unfortunately, due to a hurt foot on Emma's behalf. Instead I ended up at Ludvig and Erik'a roof. Just sitting there for an hour or two. Eating pizza!

Yep. Today is my so called "fat day"! And I made the most out of it. Had pizza, cookies and sweets. So I'm set for a while. You know, go hard or go home.

Morning runners

It's 08:28. I just got back from a run. Because of the early morning there are nearly any people in Clissold Park. Only runners. Which creates a kind of amusing scenery. See, when there are no big groups of lazy people occupying the park... the runners go crazy!

We run all over the place!

The tracks no longer exist. People are running across the grass, running in cirkles and eight's! Which is quite lovely.

I'm going to eat, take a shower and then get ready for work. Bringing my new skirt with me! Meeting up with Emma after work and we're off to have dinner and drinks!

The Kids Are Alright

If you want to watch a good film I can recommend The Kids Are Alright! It's about a family with two moms, getting their two chidlren via a sperm donor. When the kids are teenagers they track down their "dad" and the entire thing kind of escalates.

It's bloody brilliant, I tell you!

And Josh Hutcherson's in it.

Follow me on Instagram

So, it's not like I need any more social networks to keep track of

(Facebook, Twitter, Path, Wander.)

(And it's not like you need any more social networks to keep track of me!)

but I got myself Instagram! And since Facebook are buying this I guess I kind of can just count it in with that one. But I like it! It's a good place to see great mobile pictures! Because, let's face it - everyone becomes an artist with Instagram! And if you want to follow me you can find me at @thelloimlouise!

(I'm so proud that I'm keeping a consistant name throughout all my world wide web profiles!)

Dressed as me tonight

I love when you feel like you have the perfect outfit. Like you're dressed as YOU! This is me. Pure Louise. Marine. Navy. All the way!

All I need now is some Swedish summer. But that will have to wait for one month. And London isn't too damn shabby.

Root for me!

Dear lord, I'm absolutely drained of energy right now. Got back from work around six and then went out for a run.
In this weather.

(Not your smartest move, Louise.)

It's 23°c in the shadow which KIND OF brings on the heat while running in the sun. But I'm sticking to my schedule! And just so you know... the only reason why I keep mentioning this 30 day challenge of mine here is because-- I hope-- I'll be too ashamed to admit if I fail. So I'm just going to pretened that you are a bunch of cool people rooting for my success!

(Not flexing.)

(Not that it would make any difference if I did.)

Not going out this Friday

Just got back home from work... and I need to be there in... ten hours again. Phew. Which means that this payday is a no-go when it comes to celebration. When one of my friends at work heard that I'm not going out tonight the response was:

"But why not? You're a socialite!"

Ha! I'd love to see myself as a socialite but not tonight. Tonight I'm going to sit here and eat my dried mango until I fall asleep!

Frying hot this morning!

HOLY CRAP it's boiling hot in my room right now! Like put-an-egg-on-the-foorhead-and-watch-it-fry hot! I don't have to be at work until one, still I woke up at eight because of the morning sun.

(Buy curtains, buy curtains, buy curtains.)

Mum just called, via Viber, to say good morning. So, actually, it's a good thing the sun woke me up. Otherwise mum would've gotten a not-so-joyful morning call from her daughter.

Anyhoodle...

I'm on DAY THREE of my 30 day challenge thing. And I won't give up yet. And I'm want to make the most out of this weather so I'm heading out for a run!

I'm a page 1:er

A few years ago I remember being very annoyed with Google Images. With the fact that when you googled my name

(Yeah?)

there was just a bunch of pictures of old ladies. You had to go to PAGE 3 before my Myspace pictures showed up.

And I'm so pleased to say that this is no longer the case. I am now on PAGE 1! Loads of my Facebook timeline covers pop up! And if you add "timeline" to your search... oh, honey.

What's been going on lately

To make up for lost playtime I'm going to show you what has happened in my life recently.

With pictures!

Everybody loves pictures.

A "casual after work" turned into "hanging out at the casino until 6:30 in the morning."

Celebrated James birthday. Ended up at a house party somewhere in Camden. On the way home me and Paola bought THE. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. Therefor the happy faces.

Went back to Sweden to celebrate my beautiful mum's birthday! Slept in my own room, cuddled with my huge dog, painted a picture for my mum and tried on various hats.

Me and Fredrik spent almost entire day in his car with loud music, as usual. Before my flight I stopped in Copenhagen for some tea (yuck!) with Oliver!

Spent too much money on maybe a bit too much alcohol. But only with amazing people. So it's okay.

(Because it's payday in... 35 MINUTES!)

Been enjoying this summer thing going on. Playing basketball and working on my cooked lobster colour in parks all over London.

Realised how BEAUTIFUL my neighbourhood is! Look at it! LOOK AT IT!

New design!

IT WILL PROBABLY take a while before I'm happy with this design. It's a totally new concept for me and it's A BIT freaky going the tumblr way...

BUT HEY! Nice to see you again. I'm sure it's nice to see me. Read me.

I've been gone for a while and, honestly, can't really tell you why. It's been a lot going on and this website has not been my top priority. You know how life goes.

Back to Sweden for five days

OKAY, DOKAY LET'S try this again!

I was supposed to be at the airport five o'clock this morning to catch my flight back to Sweden.

That didn't happen.

So I booked another ticket and I'm giving it another try for this afternoon! I want to go home and I will now have missed one entire Swedish day by the time I get there.

I still feel like shit but at least I'm not throwing up anymore. Yeay!

Throwing up in public

URGH, IF YOU could see me right know. I look like a panda on drugs. With a black headband to shut the daylight out. Kind of like a ninja panda.

But that wasn't what I wanted to write about. I wanted to write about stupid London people. Or people in general.

I felt like crap, left work around nine this morning. Got on the train home but after two stops I jumped off the train and ended up  in-- pretty much-- the middle of the station. And started to throw up!

(Mm... yummy reading.)

Among with this throwing up I cried to myself. Moaning like a wet kitten. Facing the ground, relying on the wall to hold me up. Come to think of it, I probably looked like a wet kitten as well.

AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON CAME TO CHECK IF I WAS OK!

I stood there for a solid 15 minutes with about ten people passing by. 15 standing around me. And all they did was avoiding me. When I first stood there I was ashamed of myself for throwing up in public but that feeling quickly disappeared and was replaced by rage towards these people. I was ashamed of them and not me.

So, with this: check if people are OK if they're hurling their body to the ground.
